Chalet Bellavista

The service was a really pleasant surprise. Our group of eight spent seven nights here, and the apartments were clean, roomy and comfortable, with modern kitchen equipment. There were even three different types of kettles for making coffee, which surprised us. It's easy to get to the center and ski lifts from here, and you can ski back to the apartments. For parking, there's a large lot nearby or a garage. A great place for a pleasant time in Livigno.

We had a lovely week at Chalet BellaVista, and the service was extra good. The lady was super nice, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and professional. We had a long drive back, so the 6:30 am check-out was especially helpful. Our modern, clean apartment had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a good-sized living room and a balcony. The location was very convenient, with a garage, an accessible ski room and a laundry room if needed. If we're back in Livigno, we'll definitely stay with you again. Thank you, Chalet Bella Vista. The rooms were well equipped, and being close to the slopes was a real plus. But after a stay we really liked last year, we booked again almost a year ahead and asked for an upper floor. This time we got ground-floor rooms facing the parking lot, right beside the terrace. At night, car headlights woke everyone. The second bedroom was less affected, partly because its window was about the size of one in a prison cell. The service was the bigger problem. The receptionist seemed constantly disgruntled and couldn't manage even a “good morning” to guests. When he did talk, it was always about a problem. We also couldn't plan an early departure from Livigno to avoid traffic, because he said a cleaner had to check the room in the morning before our deposit could be returned. Apparently, he thought we might break all the dishes overnight. We'll come back to Livigno next year, but choose apartments with a friendlier atmosphere, where guests are treated kindly instead of like a hassle.

Getting around was easy, with the city center and the bottom of the slopes nearby. We had a clean two-bedroom apartment with a generous living room and spacious bathroom. When it snowed heavily, a shovel was available, the owner cleared snow from our ground-floor balcony, and they gave us more washing machine tablets when we ran out. Some house rules came across roughly, and not all the conditions were explained upfront, including the 200€/apt cash guarantee. We also had to take out the last trash, parking underground cost 20€/one night or 12€/more days, and the kids weren't allowed to cross over the fence.
