Chalet Imbosc'che - 5 Beautiful Rooms in Charming B&B

Michela made us feel so well looked after, from sorting restaurant reservations to sharing loads of ideas for things to do besides skiing. Her breakfast was superb, and she paid attention to every detail. Matteo, a private chef, cooked for our group twice. We spent Christmas week in 2023 at the chalet with family and had an amazing time. The whole place, from the bedrooms to the spa, felt like staying in a hotel. Definitely a top choice to repeat. Michela even remembered what everyone drank each morning, and adjusted breakfast for our group’s preference for savory food. We asked for mayonnaise one morning and found it on the table the next day. The place was incredibly clean, with the rooms and shared spaces cleaned perfectly every day during our week there. Michela also helped with restaurant bookings, told us what was going on in town in the evenings, and suggested good places to eat. Thanks for such a great stay and experience. Teola was quiet in the mornings and evenings, while Livigno had plenty of people shopping at the tax free outlets. We walked to a couple of restaurants in Teola, and also had delicious dinners with excellent service at La Stu and Al Mond Vei. Al Mond Vei is entirely handmade, from the building to every detail inside. Livigno was lovely and our starting point for hikes. The top floor’s red room had a balcony with an exquisite view over Livigno, a bathroom with a double shower, double sink, and bidet, and a bathtub beside the bed. There are two living rooms upstairs too, nice for a group staying in a couple of rooms to relax together. A motion sensor switches on the closet light, which is handy in daytime, but at night it’s very bright, so ask Michela to help cover it. The spa is small and private by reservation. We missed it this time, but will come back and try it. The masseuse was outstanding. The bus back from Livigno to Teola can be tricky: take the blue line from the stop in front of the pharmacy. The map is hard to follow because the route loops a couple of times, and the bus from the nearby Larix stop comes only every 30 minutes, so plan ahead. Michela was the best host we could imagine, going out of her way more than once to help and guide us. The chalet was brand new and gorgeous, with modern comforts. Breakfast was delicious, with eggs, croissants, yogurt, meusli, fruit, meats, juice, and coffee.

Our whole group loved our first trip to Livigno, and staying at Chalet Imbosc'che was a real delight. The chalet was beautiful and finished to a very high standard. Michela made the holiday extra special with tasty breakfasts and great restaurant recommendations. We’d definitely come back next year.
