The setting was very pleasant, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and provided good service. The food, unfortunately, was a big disappointment. Portions were extremely small for the very high New Year's Eve menu price, and there was no smaller or regular menu as an alternative. The nice atmosphere and service still couldn’t make up for the poor value, and the experience fell short of my expectations.

The pizza was really, really good. The desserts seemed mass-produced, the deer stew was hard to chew, and the pasta frutti di mare was a disaster. The rest of the food was very average. I’m rating the restaurant, not the hotel.

We used to send people here, but after what happened today, I wouldn't recommend it anymore. Our waitress brought the wrong dishes. We didn't want to make a big deal of it, so we agreed on four mojitos as compensation. When the bill came, the drinks were charged. The waitress denied making that deal, and another employee said she'd only been working there a few days and wasn't allowed to offer them. A real mess.

The four mojitos we were told would be free showed up on the bill. The manager said our waitress had only worked there for three days and had no authority to offer complimentary drinks, while the waitress denied saying anything about it. It made me feel like I was being treated as if I'd made the whole thing up over four bad mojitos. She'd made a mistake with our main dishes and offered to prepare them again, but we declined and agreed on the drinks instead. You can find better food and service elsewhere.
