Hotel Malita

Malita is a winner, and I can strongly recommend it. It’s a top hotel with a good location, nice restaurant, bar, and rooms, perfect housekeeping, professional reception, heated ski lockers in the basement, and great staff.

The food is what will bring me back next season. Both breakfast and dinner felt lovingly made, with great quality and plenty to choose from. We had a lovely ski week with the kids too: the rooms were clean and newly refurbished, the staff were nice, and the hotel sits right by the slopes.

We only came to the Malita Hotel for dinner, and the meal was wonderful. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. I had spinach ravioli with burnt butter sauce, then deer medallions with cranberry sauce and polenta, plus half a poached pear with cranberries. The savory and sweet flavors worked beautifully together. My husband started with dumpling soup in seasoned broth and had veal schnitzel with mushroom sauce afterward. Every dish was prepared well. The service was good, though the waitstaff seemed hurried. I asked about the dish of the day listed on the menu, and the server came back with a separate menu and pointed at an item without explaining it. We weren't sure what was on offer. Only after we'd finished did we find out it was a buffet for €27. Clearer information would have helped. The food and dining experience were high quality, so I'd recommend the restaurant, but ask if something on the menu isn't clear.

We've been staying here for over ten years and are already counting down to our next visit. For a stay around Sella Ronda, it's hard to beat this cozy, family-owned hotel. The staff are exceptionally friendly and make you feel very welcome.
