Hotel Pordoi

The meal was such a letdown that I felt nauseous afterward, and my friend had an upset stomach. We ordered ravioli and carbonara, hoping for a nice moment during our trip to Italy, but the carbonara was the worst I've had in seven visits. I ordered it twice. The waiter tried to help, but each serving was worse, with flavorless spaghetti floating in egg yolks. It felt like the chef was experimenting carelessly with a dish Italians take seriously. The ravioli pictures gave us an idea of how much effort goes into the food. The waitress was in a rush and took away the Parmesan, salt, and pepper before the food had even been served properly. It was a sad experience at Pordoi resturant. P.S. We didn't ask for a free meal and turned down the offer, but the waiter left it on the table anyway. In hospitality, the lack of acknowledgment was disappointing, especially when customers are paying for an experience.

The owner made me feel welcome, was always around, and was glad to help. I stayed for two nights on a motorbike tour and found it excellent value, conveniently placed near several popular passes. Having a motorcycle garage was a real bonus. I'd stay again.

We arrived drenched with a group of ten motorbikers, and the hotel had a closed garage for the bikes plus drying facilities for our clothes and boots. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the restaurant was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The pizza was so good I came back for another one. The people were really nice and friendly, and the place had a warm atmosphere. Definitely a thumbs up for this restaurant. I only went for pizza, I didn't stay here.
