That peaceful, old-world feel is hard to describe. The living spaces are huge, and the details throughout are astonishing. We were welcomed so warmly, with the hospitality you expect in the South. Breakfast was all artisanal, either homemade or from a local bakery, and always excellent, with plenty of savory choices too. The double rooms are enormous. Thanks, Elisa, you were fantastic. We hope to see you again in Bologna.

Breakfast in the shared courtyard room came with delicious pastries baked fresh. The B&B is a renovated historic residence, beautifully done, and the gracious owner manages it. Rooms are spacious and have every comfort. It’s a handy base near Lecce: seaside spots like San Foca, Roca Vecchia, and Torre dell'Orso are only a few minutes away by car, while inland places such as Galatina and Nardò are about 35 minutes away. I highly recommend it for a Puglia vacation.

The spacious room and good breakfast were both welcome, and the host was charming with great sightseeing advice. South of Lecce, it’s well placed for exploring. I’d ask for a garden-facing room to avoid traffic noise and the church bells in the morning.

Elisa made us feel warmly welcome, with a smile, useful advice, and delicious pastries at breakfast. Our room looked out over the lovely garden toward the castle, and had a hot tub. Everything was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully furnished, and so peaceful. What a charming place.

The modern rooms are carefully designed and always clean, and the 24-hour hot tub was a lovely extra. Elisa was kind and helpful. She makes homemade cakes for breakfast, with something different each day, plus spectacular pastries and equally great coffee. A really good B&B, glad we found it. We’ll be back.
