The buildings are a little old, but comfortable, and the pools are very good. Staff were lovely, especially the entertainment team. The main letdown was the food: breakfast quality was very low and the products seemed cheap. That was surprising given the cost, which is close to high-end resorts like Barcelo and H10.
Paying for a nicer category, such as executive, didn't get me a better room than the basic one. Things were run down and broken, including the air conditioning and TV. A handyman came about the air conditioning, but it still wasn't cool after he said it was fixed. The website said check-in was at 3pm, but we were left with our bags in a stairwell while cleaners finished, nearly until 5pm. The way it was handled was disappointing.
I've rarely had a hotel stay this bad. The room was cold at night in spring because there was no heating. Staff said the system wasn't working at the time, but didn't offer another solution, so sleeping was very uncomfortable. Noise was constant: the walls are thin enough that you can hear conversations, coughing, footsteps, and doors from neighboring rooms. There was no privacy. The elevator was tiny, slow, and dirty, and added to the sense that the place was poorly kept. Staff were unfriendly and dismissive when I asked for help. My concerns got indifference instead of solutions, and the service felt unprofessional. The worst issue was being told I owed an extra €200 to use the kitchen, even though the listing said it came with my room. Nobody had told me about this before or during the stay. They said the agency that booked the room had no agreement allowing kitchen use. There was no written policy, proof, or notice at check-in. When I asked to speak to a manager, the receptionist said she was the manager and wouldn't involve anyone else. I asked for a signed and stamped explanation of the charge, and she started yelling. I couldn't see any legal or contractual basis for it. I hadn't signed anything agreeing to this fee, and when I insisted they show evidence, they eventually dropped the charge. The whole thing felt dishonest, misleading, and deeply unprofessional. Between the lack of basic comfort and soundproofing, the opaque policies, and staff who didn't show respect or offer help, I wouldn't trust this place. The listing was misleading, and guests seem to be treated poorly once they've paid. Stay elsewhere if you don't want discomfort, noise, and surprise charges.
The pool was lovely and kept in great shape, and we always had something to do thanks to the activities. We also enjoyed the fresh food, with plenty of variety each day. The staff were warm and quick to help from the moment we arrived. We had a fantastic all-inclusive stay and would love to return.
Claudia at the front desk was attentive when we checked in, and the food was tasty. Unfortunately, those were the bright spots in a stay that cost almost 1,000 Swiss francs for 3 days. The building feels old and badly in need of renovation. The elevator is tiny and painfully slow, and it broke down for a whole day. With our 1-year-old baby and a stroller, getting around was impossible. We were left without guaranteed sunbeds or umbrellas by the pool, despite paying for “all inclusive.” The package was very limited: it didn't cover even a basic coffee at the bar between meals, and pool towels cost extra. The instant coffee in the room was poor, with no powdered creamer. I was freezing at night because there were no blankets!!!!!!!! The room phone didn't work either, so I couldn't call reception about anything “urgent”. We also felt Italian-speaking guests got noticeably better treatment than people speaking other languages. For an international resort, that was disappointing. We can't recommend it. For that price, we expected at least the basics from an “all inclusive” resort.
