Agriturismo Ogliastra

I’ve been back to this agriturismo several times, always just to eat, and it’s a pleasure every time. Gianpaolo and his staff let us sample their excellent products: lovely appetizers, culurgiones and ravioli I couldn’t stop eating, wonderful suckling pig, and lamb that, to me, is the best in Ogliastra. Thanks for everything. I haven’t stayed in the rooms.

We found the restaurant easily and had a very satisfying meal with the family. The staff were attentive, polite, and always smiling, and the prices felt fair for the quality. There was good local wine, and the homemade desserts were excellent. We also loved the traditional, characterful decor and relaxed welcome. The highlights on the table were the "culurgones" pasta, roast suckling pig, and mutton in sauce. I’d happily recommend it.

The quiet, natural setting suited us perfectly, and it’s a handy base for exploring the area, from beaches and historic spots to the mountains and places like the Marmuri caves. Mr. Paolo was warm, helpful, and easy to talk to.

We stayed for a full five hours and watched the moon and stars from the outdoor terrace. It’s a lovely rural spot, and we were welcomed warmly and looked after attentively all evening. The food was excellent, all homemade. It costs €40 for adults and €20 for children up to 10 years old, with food and drinks included. We’d gladly return.
