The pool and gardens were kept immaculately, and there’s a free beach at Torre Canne about 20 minutes away. We went swimming there most days after checking out other options. Villa Maggi is a family run B&B with six good sized, air conditioned rooms, all very well kept, and mosquito nets on the windows. They weren’t really needed during our stay. Nada manages the rooms, while Dino cooks and looks after service. They’re a lovely couple who do what they can to make guests comfortable. Dinner is available if you let Dino know before 10:00 each day. He’s a capable cook and trained Pàtissier, and uses produce from the garden, which his dad tends. We paid about 30 euros per person for three courses and excellent wine. My wife and I are fussy about accommodation, but after two weeks here we’re happy to recommend the place. The B&B sits in quiet countryside on a hill, around 1 1/2 miles from historic Locorotondo. There’s an allocated cycle path, so walking or biking into town is easy. The town is high on its own hill with wide views, and unlike many historic towns in Puglia, we found it easy and enjoyable to explore. We often walked in for morning cappuccino at the 'Belevedere' view point. There are plenty of good Pizza and Pasta restaurants. We liked the 'Belvedere', and chose U Curdunn for something special. Villa Maggi made for a trouble free stay.

Dino made dinner a real treat, and his training as a patisserie chef really comes through. Breakfast was excellent too, carefully prepared. He’s a warm, attentive host with lots of local knowledge, and we had a very relaxing stay in a beautiful trullo. It’s well placed for the Adriatic beaches and lovely towns including Alberobello and Locorotondo. Ask Dino about beaches, he knows good spots. We’d recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful break and genuine hospitality.

The garden and pool look out over the landscape, and the place itself is beautiful and peaceful. Service was excellent. Breakfast was amazing, with homemade omelets and cappuccino’s. A 10/10 stay, I can’t recommend it enough!

Locorotondo is absolutely wonderful and only 3 minuts away, and the owners gave us super recommandations. The villa is easy to reach, with big, clean rooms and a lovely garden and pool. Breakfast made by the owner was among the best we had in Italy, with fresh sweet and savory food, olive oil from the garden, and wine as well. We bought some of that amazing olive oil, and the owners gave us a gift too. A big thanks and hug to Dino and Nada. It was lovely, we’ll definitely return and have recommanded the place to everyone!
