The rural setting was remarkably peaceful, though services were still close by, and several small towns and local attractions were easy to reach. The property felt unlike anywhere we’ve stayed before. We’ve never had a better hotel or resort stay. Emanuel, the owner, did everything he could for us, and his staff were outstanding. Definitely 10 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend Masseria Grofoleo.

Emanuelle treated us like family, and nothing we asked for was too small. The property is gorgeous and the staff were exceptional. Masseria Grafoleo was as good as, or even better than, some of the small luxury hotels my wife and I have enjoyed, including Rosewood Las Ventanas al Paraíso, La Casa Que Canta, and Chateau Palais Royal in Paris. One of the best small luxury hotels in the world, and the best hotel in Puglia.

Grofoleo Masseria gave us a memorable stay, thanks to the wonderful hospitality from Emanuel and the team. It’s close to Locorotondo, a beautiful place to visit with great cafes and restaurants.

We were there over Easter and were impressed by the service and care from Emmanuelle and the discreet, dedicated staff. The garden and green spaces were kept beautifully, and the pool was lovely. The trulli here are charming, distinctive homes typical of the area. Breakfast deserves a special mention: Emmanuelle's mother, an even more enchanting Italian lady, bakes seven or eight different cakes each day. Thanks to everyone, and especially to Emmanuelle's mom!

Having coffee among the flowers in the sunshine, with that view, made breakfast especially lovely. The breakfast itself was perfect too. Our child had fun in the garden playground, and we were surprised with chocolate eggs each evening. Sleeping in a Trullo was a really nice experience. Masseria Grofoleo is peaceful and has an amazing view of Locorotondo village. Emanuel and the whole team were kind and professional, which made the stay even better.
