Trulli di Pozzomasiello

Set amid nature, it’s wonderfully quiet, about halfway between Locorotondo and Alberobello. The grounds are kept in great shape, with a large pool and a little terrace beside the trullo. There’s also a spacious outdoor dining area, a playground, and a gym. The trullo itself was a great place to sleep: cool and dark even in the heat, with a kitchen and bathroom.

We had a wonderful four days and would gladly come back. The trullo was in excellent condition, with a genuinely authentic feel, and we were welcomed so warmly. A magnificent place to stay.

The breakfast was a real treat, with good-quality sweet and savory options, and the Turkish bath in winter was a highlight. We slept so well in the soft, comfortable bed, and everything was spotless, cozy, and looked after down to the smallest details. I almost never give a full five stars, since so many things need to come together for that. Sleeping in that trullo was spectacular. We even stayed an extra night instead of moving on after one. Micaela and her husband, thank you from the heart. We couldn’t have asked for more. We spent about 40 days traveling through Sicily, Calabria, and Puglia, and this is the place we’ll remember with a pang of nostalgia. The garden and pools must be paradise in summer. Thank you.

Locorotondo is about five minutes away and Alberobello around ten, so getting to both is easy. The owner and his family were exceptionally kind and always willing to help. The three-trulli property is spotless and very carefully maintained. There’s a little gym too, plus a large pool ringed by olive trees, a welcome spot during the hottest part of the day. Highly recommended.
