Hotel Pineta

After a day exploring nature and art on the Bologna Montana Art Trail, this apartment was a peaceful place to recharge. It’s roomy, nicely furnished, and kept very clean, with a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding hills. Waking up to that scenery was a real bonus. Barbara made us feel at home throughout our stay in the Residence. She was always kind, available, and genuinely helpful. I couldn’t have asked for more from her hospitality. If you’re passing through, treat yourself to a stay here. It’s a lovely mix of comfort, beautiful surroundings, and human warmth.

The only thing I missed was a refrigerator in the room. Otherwise, it was a good hotel: the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the owner treated us very well. I stayed here myself and had a great time.

Our stay was unpleasant from the start, as they hadn’t even given us a room key at first. The room for three was cramped, and the kitchen was terrible. The restaurant owners’ pets wandered loose around reception, while details and cleanliness were lacking throughout. The facilities were outdated and didn’t work well. Worst of all, the same tablecloths stayed on the tables for all four days of meals. The little garden was old and neglected.

The staff were unfriendly, and they were eating tart at the front desk while we were there. The rooms were tiny for three beds, and the owners’ dogs and cats were loose in reception. None of the guests liked the food.
