L'Ea di Lavru

We chose Flavio's apartment after doing plenty of research on the island's East side last year, and were glad we did. The kids still talk about staying there. Flavio does have quite a few rules, as we'd read, but if you can work with them, it's a lovely place. He takes time to explain things and is genuinely helpful, with restaurant tips and even table bookings with good views. He also suggested a restaurant on the other side of the island, which we tried. Before our trip, he kindly mailed us his holiday brochure with lots of useful information. The apartments are well equipped and built to a high standard. They're on a small hill, but the city center is a 10-minute walk away.

The gardens were mesmerizing, with lovely scents in the air and peaceful benches where you could just sit and unwind. It's a real break from everyday chaos. Flavio puts his heart into the place, and you can feel how much he cares about every guest. My partner and I stayed at L'ea di Navru for the first time, in apartment number 6. It felt like a sanctuary, with loving attention in everything from the walls and floors to the outdoor spaces and lighting. Flavio and Lorella's oasis made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. This won't be our last visit.

We first stayed at L'Ea di Lavru two years ago, and we've just booked another visit for my wife's 30th birthday. Flavio makes you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. This part of Sardinia and the hotel are impeccable. His guide is well worth reading for a local's take and insights you won't find elsewhere. He has connections all over: he booked us tables at the best seats in restaurants, arranged a boat tour, and found us an incredible dinner at a farm restaurant we wouldn't have discovered on our own. For the first time, we returned to the same place for a second visit, and we'd been looking forward to being back in Sardinia all year. Our dogs are welcome, which matters a lot to us. The apartments are spotless and smell lovely, and the garden and music make the atmosphere just right. Flavio is always ready to help and give advice. He booked us a restaurant every day, and sent a new guide before our stay that we used to choose excursions and restaurants.
