We fell in love with Sardinia and would definitely come back next year. We stayed four nights, and it was so peaceful and stress free off season. On our last day, we checked out at 10 am, then got a beach parking pass and complimentary towels so we could enjoy a couple more hours by the sea before our flight home. The staff made us feel welcome from check-in right through our stay. The clean pool had separate shallow and deeper areas for kids. Our apartment was quite modern and had everything we needed. The views were overwhelming, even though the area around the hotel could use a cleanup, with wires and deep holes from ground works.

The apartment felt like a health hazard. There was damp and mould all over the walls, flaky paint coming off, and a constant mouldy smell. Nobody cleaned during our stay, so I had to track down a cleaner to ask for toilet roll and towels. Our outside area faced the main path, with people walking by all the time, no view, and every noise from the apartment upstairs coming through. Reception staff were generally friendly, but the older woman with short hair at checkout was rude and abrupt. There was also no pool supervision. German children were running along the pool edges and playing hide-and-seek near the sunbeds where people were trying to relax, while their parents ignored them. One German family let their naked child, without a nappy, into the pool, and people were drinking bottled alcohol in the pools. Maybe it’s a culture difference. We ate at the pool restaurant once. The pizza had no flavour, and half the chips were so hard they couldn’t be eaten. I wish I had something positive to say, but the whole place was a shambles. I don't recommend it and won't be back.

Apartment 304 was a jackpot, with a huge terrace and panoramic views. We’ve just come home from the best week here. The hotel and apartments are unique, and the area is beautiful. It was an easy 20-minute drive from the airport, and the roads were straightforward. Two spotless pools are on site, one just right for children. There was plenty of room and they were never crowded. The restaurants were regularly maintained and served lovely food. The beach is about a 10-minute drive down a track, which wasn’t too much hassle. You can walk to the local village in 10 minutes for restaurants, a shop, an ice cream place and a launderette.

Our sea-view villa was fantastic, and after seven days we left feeling very comfortable and well looked after. The place seemed to have had a recent refresh, and while the accommodation is simple, we loved what it offered. The private pool and restaurant were great, as were the service, beach bar and activities you could book at reception. We’d stay here again!
