Palazzo Rosso Farm

The peaceful countryside setting worked so well for us, and in about 10 minutes by car we could get to excellent supermarkets and big shopping centres. We also got to use the pool in early October thanks to the lovely weather. It’s on the Palazzo Rosso property, around 1.5 km away by car. Our family of four, with girls aged 8 and 10, had a wonderful stay at The Mulberries. The apartment is in the owners’ home and has a charm that’s hard to describe. It was superbly equipped, and we didn’t lack anything. We’re so grateful we got to meet Silvia and Philip, such warm-hearted people. Silvi and Phil, as you already know, we’ll be back as soon as we can. Warm wishes from Saskia, Frank, and the girls.

The girls were happiest feeding the animals with Sylivia and gathering eggs for breakfast. At 2 and 4, they were completely absorbed in it, and it was a joy to watch. The farm is lovely, with neat vineyards on one side and chickens, horses, pigs, geese, goats, and cows on the other. There’s also a clean swimming pool in a gated area, which was reassuring for child safety, though the girls never wanted to get out. We had a great vacation at Palazzo Rosso with my wife, our two young kids, and my mother-in-law. Our top-floor rooms had high ceilings and comfortable beds. There were bikes, table tennis, a big outdoor patio, a shared area, sauna, jacuzzi, small playground, BBQ, and a nice seating area. Phil gave us a full tour when we arrived and even drove us back from town when we had trouble getting a rental car. The location was handy too, about 20-30 minutes from Vincenza and Padova, and roughly 50 minutes from Venice, where we went twice. Thanks, Sylivia and Phil, for such a good stay. We’ll definitely return with more family next time. Highly recommended, I’d give it 10 stars if Google allowed it.

The apartment was spotless again and had everything we needed for a self-catering week. The AC handled the heat wave well, and the big pool was a bonus. This was our third visit to Palazzo Rosso Farm this year, and another perfect week. Sylvie and Phil are wonderful hosts, always ready with ideas for day trips and restaurant recommendations. We’ll be back.

We spent about two weeks here in June 2021. It’s a lovely spot for families, with lots to see on the working farm, and it also makes a great base for trips around the surrounding region. The hosts’ family were welcoming and quick to respond. Thank you, SIlvia and Philip! Fabio
