Malatesta Antica Dimora

Fantastic!

Longiano greeted us with a quiet historic square and old stone buildings. At Malatesta Antica Dimora, the village’s warm lights and sense of history made it feel like a real escape from routine. Check-in and checkout were quick and convenient, and the room was spacious, spotless and easy to relax in. The air conditioning adjusted the temperature quickly, even on a chilly evening. I did wish there had been an extra emergency blanket in the closet. Parking right in the square was very convenient, so we didn’t have to haul our luggage through the historic streets. Getting to the rooms does mean climbing a few stairs, which is worth keeping in mind if you have a stroller or heavy suitcases. Although the "Falegnameria" restaurant is directly below, we slept perfectly and weren’t bothered by noise at all. Breakfast isn’t served in the building, so you’ll need to go to one of the village bars in the morning. The stay has all the essentials. The restaurant downstairs also makes it easy to stop for a good glass of wine or a cocktail. For a quiet, distinctive weekend, I’d say it’s worth a visit.

In the historic center, the rooms are welcoming and the location is really pleasant. The bistro next door offers breakfast, dinner and evening aperitifs. I’d recommend it if you want somewhere quiet and private.

The company is well run, attentive to what customers ask for, and very flexible with timing. The only possible downside is breakfast at the restaurant downstairs, where a bit more attention to customers would help. Even so, it’s excellent and plentiful.
