Villa Ada

The owners were welcoming and kind, and there’s a little snack bar outside the room with a delicious Lavazza coffee machine, cookies, bottled water, and sweets. We stayed in the green room, which was lovely, clean, and well equipped. The bathroom is modern and very functional. Excellent, I’d say. Thank you.

Breakfast was a real letdown. The hotel has no kitchen, so we were given a ticket for the café at the train station, a three-minute drive away. The room itself was hard to sleep in too: trains pass by the hotel many times day and night, shaking the bed. The bathroom sink was peculiar, and its plug got stuck with no easy way to remove it, leaving the water we’d already used to collect. Unfortunately, the experience was very negative.

The breakfast vouchers were a lovely touch, especially since they let us try one of the area's best pastries. Villa Ada is also well placed for driving to the Conero's prettiest villages and beaches. Our room was spotless and welcoming, with thoughtful details everywhere. The owners and staff were kind and helpful, and made it feel like home. My stay was unfortunately too short, but I know where I'll stay if I come back to the area.

The railway nearby can be heard now and then, which was the only downside for me. Otherwise, this family-run B&B felt like home. There was fresh water and juice in the fridge, plus a coffee machine and a range of snacks. They provided vouchers for breakfast at a nearby bakery, which was excellent, given the COVID period. The room also had air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom.
