Hotel Ogliastra

The location is quiet, while larger towns such as Santa Maria and Tortoli are close by. The rooms have been refurbished to a 4-star hotel standard and were very clean. The owner was helpful and attentive to every detail. I'd choose this hotel again next time.

Breakfast included both European and continental choices, with homemade desserts, and the on-site restaurant/pizzeria was convenient. Our rooms were new, comfortable, and well equipped. The staff were delightful, friendly, and helpful, with plenty of smiles and advice. We'll definitely return and recommend it to anyone wanting to discover a wonderful part of Sardinia.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels for work, and Hotel Ogliastra in Lotzorai has earned a place in my personal top five. The rooms are spacious, new, clean, and carefully maintained, with Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, TV, air conditioning, and a terrace with a table and chairs. The beds are comfortable and anatomical, and described as mite-proof. As someone with allergies, I appreciated that I couldn't find dust even in corners or crevices. The bathroom is roomy and always clean, and the large shower makes for a relaxing wash. Breakfast is generous, with a wide selection and good quality as well as quantity. The staff, especially owner Luciano, are ready to help with guests' needs, and his dedication stands out compared with others in the industry. The location is a good base for Sardinia's beautiful beaches and inland spots. Two words for the hotel: A Hotel, a Soul!
