We spent four nights here in September and had a great time. Anna was kind and helpful, and the old town was about a ten-minute walk away. We found a free street parking spot every time. There’s a great gelateria around the corner, and you can rent bicycles for much less than in town. Do it, cycling through the countryside and along the city wall was so much fun. There’s also plenty of outdoor space for a drink, yoga or breakfast. I’ll stay here again when I’m in Lucca.

This was the worst hostel I’ve stayed in for a long time. The staff were unfriendly, the rooms dirty, and the beds hard and old. They don’t even provide a blanket. Just a complete horror show.

I only stayed one night, but the place was beautiful and felt like home. Anna was so warm and kind. I arrived at 10pm after everything had closed, and she made me some tasty pasta. Her mother Venustia was lovely too. Recommended!

Just a quick weekend away, and the room was really comfortable and spotless. Great value for money too. Special thanks to Anna 👌
