I really enjoyed staying here. The youngsters bothering locals at night in the square by the church were annoying, though they were definitely less rowdy than the average Glasgow youth.

The owners, Andrea Lucchesi and Serena, were so accommodating whenever we asked for anything. Their apartment is spacious, central, clean, and well cared for, with old-style furnishings that Andrea has renovated himself. We also followed their recommendation and met Marika and her horse Luigi (Gigio), who took us on a carriage ride that felt like traveling back in time. Lucca is a wonderful city, and all that pampering made for an EXCELLENT weekend. Our time here is sadly coming to an end. Don't miss it.
