B&B La Chiusa Delle Monache

Mrs. Agnese made us a lovely breakfast with homemade Tuscan treats and local products, tailored just for us. Every detail was perfect. The room was cozy, comfortable, clean, and decorated in a Tuscan style, and the whole place smelled fresh and clean. Constanza and her mother, Mrs. Agnese, were so polite and sweet, which made the stay feel especially welcoming. The property is well placed, about a 10-minute walk from the main gate of Lucca city center. I’ll definitely return with my family.

Costanza was friendly and helpful, and gave us plenty of information about Lucca and the surrounding area when we checked in. The rooms were very clean and furnished with a lot of care. We especially enjoyed breakfast. The hostess’s mother baked a local specialty just for us. We’ll be happy to come back. Best wishes to the whole family from Switzerland.

It was about a 15-minute walk to the old town, and parking was easy with plenty of space. The place itself was lovely. Constanza and her family were generous and attentive, making sure we had everything we might need. They made the holiday feel like coming home. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Breakfast in the beautiful walled garden was a wonderful way to start the day, and coming back to the calm and charm of Chiusa delle Monache made a lovely end to it. There was a good range of breakfast choices. I had a traditional Italian breakfast each day, with delicious pastries, homemade treats, fresh fruit, coffee, and cappuccino. The guest house has an authentic Italian feel, and it’s an enjoyable 10-minute walk from the city walls. Bikes are available too. The accommodation, breakfasts, and warm hospitality were everything I could have hoped for and more. It was the best hotel or guest house experience I’ve had. Grazie mille.
