Villa Orsolini worked well for the five of us, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for a quiet stay near Lucca. My relatives and I spent three days there. It’s in Meati, a small hamlet in the countryside outside Lucca, in a historic villa that’s probably from the 19th century. The garden was pleasant and well maintained, and the driveway was narrow but beautiful. There are technically three entrances; we used the ground floor one for convenience, where the kitchen and large living room are. Upstairs there’s a double bedroom, another bedroom with two beds, and two bathrooms. The only drawback was that some aged areas could use repainting. Otherwise, the house is in good condition.

Villa Orsolini is in a peaceful spot, in a separate old building with a beautifully kept garden. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at “our” Villa Orsolini for the second time in 2019, at Luciano's, and were completely convinced and happy with it. It’s the perfect place to stay! Romana and Gerhard
