I spent one night here and had a very quiet stay. My room was really a two-room apartment: the comfortable main bedroom had a double bed and a working freestanding bathtub, while the second room was two steps up. There was also a full bathroom with a toilet, bidet, and corner shower. A kettle, complimentary biscuits, and a bottle of water were provided. The place is on the ground floor of an old building, facing a small square and a church. It’s quiet and has a luxurious feel, right in Lucca’s walled centre. You can walk here from the train station, and there’s a parking lot on the little square in front. The entrance is through the building’s main gate and another door to reception, which leads to three separate rental units. Let them know in advance when you’ll arrive, since reception isn’t staffed around the clock.

We came with our dog, who was welcome, and felt at ease straight away thanks to the kind, friendly and understanding staff. Our room had a charming old Lucca style, with frescoes, a four-poster bed, and a lovely view of the church bell tower. It was a really evocative place to stay. Luxury Corte dei Nobili is right in Lucca’s historic centre, making it easy to explore on foot. The property is authorized to access the ZTL (limited traffic zone), which was very handy for our drive. Parking costs extra, but it’s only about a five-minute walk away. We had a thoroughly positive stay and recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy the historic centre’s charm.

The bathroom was large, but not clean enough, and the shower was dirty. There were ants along the walls in both the room and bathroom. The room was spacious and had working air conditioning, but no refrigerator. There’s no reception, and check-in for the rooms starts at 3:00 PM. For the service, the price felt too high. You can definitely find somewhere better in Lucca, even though the location is excellent for visiting the city.

The room was quiet and restful, and everything felt just right. It was spacious and had a comfortable bed, plus a small table with coffee, tea, mineral water, a kettle, and complimentary biscuits. The bathroom was bright, very clean, and well stocked with toiletries, towels in several sizes, toilet paper, and a lidded bin. The reception welcome was polite and friendly. It’s a lovely place in Lucca’s walled historic centre, very close to Piazza Anfiteatro. Highly recommended.
