We stayed with the family and really liked the apartment and outdoor space. The pool was fantastic. There’s a local pizzeria, bar, and patisserie just a short walk away, and Lucca is a 13min drive.

The building has been restored beautifully, and the quality throughout is high. A few practical things were missing: there weren’t many drinking glasses, and there was no bin in the building. Some parts of town are scenic, while others feel run down. Dining options in town are limited, so head to Pisa for dinner.

Mrs. Flavia was always available, and even let me charge my electric car for free. The setting has a real old-time feel, and the stay was truly top-notch. It’s definitely one of my favorite places.
