The sunset from the pool was a 10/10, and the location was peaceful and beautiful. We found no faults: the views were superb, the accommodation clean and comfortable, and breakfast tasty and filling. It changed daily and included vegetarian options. We spent four nights at Holiday Prato Verde, and it was beyond our expectations. Mara met us on arrival with a lovely cup of coffee, then showed us to our apartment, which had a fantastic sea and mountain view. The family were kind, friendly and helpful. They even gave us boxes for taking leftover breakfast food on our day trips. It’s perfectly placed for Pisa, Lucca and Florence. We’ll definitely return.

The view from the pool alone is worth a stay, and the on-site restaurant serves proper Italian home-cooked food. Don’t miss breakfast either. Mara and her family gave us a warm welcome, and the apartment was fabulous. Our time at Prato Verde was unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back.

The infinity pool has a panoramic view of Lake Massaciuccoli and the North Tuscan coast. There’s also a restaurant on the grounds serving breakfast, lunch and dinner six days a week. Both the restaurant and apartment are very reasonably priced, and I recommend them without reservation. I stayed in apartment "Gelsamino," recently remodeled in May 22. It’s a pleasant, airy holiday flat with a well-equipped kitchenette, including a full-size stove, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. The other rooms are set up like a 3/4 star hotel room.

The people are the heart of this place. They’re so kind and good-hearted, and the food is great, especially breakfast. It’s thoughtful and different every day. I spent my birthday here and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The place is beautiful, with stunning views and a pool. I’d definitely come back and recommend it :)
