The Wi-Fi worked great, which mattered a lot since we had no cell service and relied on the internet to sort out transport and accommodation. Luigi was kind and made excellent cappuccinos. The B&B is good value for the price, and the path along the Serchio river is nice for walking or biking. We had a basic double room. It was nice, though close to the road, so it could be noisy with the window open. Closing it helped, but then the room could get warm and stuffy. There’s one bathroom for all the rooms, I think, which can be a minor inconvenience, though generally it wasn’t an issue. It’s fairly close to Lucca, but not much else is nearby. That was fine, except the buses don’t always show up or run when they’re supposed to, which made getting around difficult at times. Italian breakfast, coffee, pastry and juice, isn’t much of a meal, but it’s free. We stayed three nights, which may have been one night longer than needed for what interested us in the area. Still, I’d stay again.
