I stayed for a week during the Lucca Comics and Games festival, and was glad every day that I’d picked this place. The owner was kind and helpful, arranged a taxi for me from the train station, and kept looking out for me. When I got sick halfway through the trip, I was grateful to have a comfortable room to recover in. The city is walkable, and the property is near the wall, easy to find and away from the biggest festival crowds. Food and pharmacies are an easy walk, and there’s a very tasty late-night place open right next door. I’d highly recommend this cozy gem in Lucca.

Rebekah was friendly and welcoming, and helped us arrange storage for our rented bikes since we couldn’t keep them here. We stayed three nights while using Lucca as a base for road cycling. The place was very comfortable, and the President'S Suite with the tower was beautiful.

Lovely rooms in a great little gem of a place. The star is the host, Rebecka, who was absolutely amazing and did everything she could to make us comfortable.

The manager made our stay especially easy, they were excellent and really accommodating. The hotel itself is a gorgeous little boutique place, spotlessly clean and tucked into a peaceful location. Highly recommend.

The host gave us a warm welcome, talked about the place’s history, and shared useful information about Lucca along with restaurant recommendations. Inside the Wall, the location was great. Our apartment was larger than I’d expected, clean and comfortable, and the traditional rustic character was much more striking in person than the photos can show.
