We only had a short stay, but hope to return next time. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the breakfast had a good range of meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, fruit, juices, and granola cereals. Bikes and umbrellas were available, and we needed the umbrellas for our walking tour around this charming town. Booking directly by email was easy, with prompt, professional replies. Silvia was engaging and helpful, and Tullio greeted us the next morning at breakfast. It’s a hidden gem in the center of the walled city of Lucca.

Having bikes available was a real treat. We could ride around the wall whenever we wanted, which was our favorite thing to do in Lucca. The room was simple but comfortable, and both the breakfast room and the food were very nice. Silvia was friendly, charming, and so helpful with information and reservations. We greatly enjoyed our stay at this charming little hotel. Thanks so much, Silvia. Highly recommend!

We loved being able to grab a snack in the lovely courtyard after a day walking around Lucca. Staying here felt like home. The two girls, Mikol and Alicia, gave us the warmest welcome and went out of their way to make our stay a perfect experience. Thank you both for making us feel so relaxed, and apologies if I’ve spelled your names wrong. A special mention for Dorina, who keeps the whole place sparkling clean and seems to smile the entire time she’s doing it. This is an absolutely delightful little hotel.

The rooms and the place itself are lovely, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Being so well situated inside the old town walls does come with some noise at times, from people in the street or the garbage collectors in the morning.
