The old building, with the B&B on the second floor, gives the place a special atmosphere rather than a standard hotel feel. Our room stayed pleasant even during this July's heatwave. It's close to the sights and restaurants, but the area is quiet, which we appreciated. We had the best gnocchi at the restaurant right next to the B&B. The owner also gave us plenty of tips for exploring the area.

We only had one night at B&B La Romea and wished we could've stayed longer. The building dates from the 1400s and has original frescoes, which made it such a cool place to stay. It's gorgeous and one of the most picturesque hotels I've been to. The hosts were amazing, and the location was great.

I loved the vintage feel of the suite, especially the huge old-style bathroom and its bathtub. I spent a long, relaxing time in the bath. Breakfast was delicious too. This will be my place to stay whenever I'm in Lucca, and I'll be back!

Gaia's lovely place made us feel at home, and we had fantastic days in Lucca. It's a short walk from the lively center, close to the city's main attractions, and about ten minutes from the train station. We hope to return!

Dallea is an amazing host, and the breakfast is fabulous. The place feels warm and welcoming, like home. I highly recommend it. It's one of the best B&Bs I've stayed at in Italy.
