La Vedetta

After more than 20 years of travelling around the world, I’ve never met hosts as wonderful as Mrs Cinzia and Mr Emmanuele. La Vedetta felt like perfection to me. Come see for yourself how lovely it is.

There’s plenty of room to relax in the big garden, and it’s peaceful there. The property sits a little higher up among nature, with views of Lucca’s towers. Our hosts were warm and friendly, and we felt right at home.

We were seven adults staying during Lucca Comics and Games, and having enough room at a fair price for that season was a real plus. Cinzia gave us clear directions from the Lucca toll booth, and parking inside the courtyard was easy, with plenty of space. The villa itself was stunning. Inside, there were two large bedrooms, one with its own bathroom, plus a single bedroom on a mezzanine. The living room had a brand-new kitchen. Everything felt welcoming and freshly renovated, with Wi-Fi, a TV and an induction stove. The Lucca Comics service was fantastic. We were driven to the entrance and picked up in the evening. Driving there takes five minutes, but finding parking can take two hours, so that made a big difference. From the first contact, Cinzia was kind and courteous, and we had a great stay. It’s ideal for a big family or group of friends. I’d recommend it any time of year, except during Lucca Comics, so I can keep it free for myself 😜

We spent three days here with six people. Though it’s close to Lucca, the place feels tucked away from the noise, surrounded by lawns, olive trees and nature. The second-floor apartment has a lovely view and plenty of space. It was clean and had all the comforts we needed. The owners manage it themselves, and they were friendly and attentive.
