Tuscan Sun Holiday Apartments

The apartment is comfortable and functional, with plenty of space, and the shared breakfast area is nice. Still, it feels a bit neglected: the TV doesn't work, and the heating in one room is out. The breakfast setup needs more care too. Some food is left open and unpackaged in plain view, including biscuit tins with broken biscuits, and there are items that are close to or past their expiration date. The equipment also needs better maintenance.

The service earns the one star, though the staff seemed more focused on restaurant guests. In a heatwave with temperatures over 30 degrees, the AC wasn't working and was partly falling apart, so we were sweating in bed. The TV remote was broken and patched with duct tape; in the other room the volume knob was missing and the screen had blue streaks. The shower doors wouldn't close, leaving a wet mess, and barely any water came out. The freezer door in the fridge was broken, with one lump of ice inside, and a really strange smell. My advice is to avoid it.

The bed was super comfortable!!!!!!!!! The kitchen, though, was only partly working, with too little cutlery and pots and pans that weren't very clean. The shower door wouldn't shut, and even after 20 minutes the water still hadn't heated up properly.

The restaurant was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The place itself feels dated, though: there were loud heating noises at night, and the shower water smelled bad. The bathroom is modern. Excellent value for money!
