We found no cutlery and no plates in the cupboard, and what little we could find was filthy. When my wife and I went to use the basketball court listed among the amenities on booking.com, the host and local tenants yelled at us. This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in Italy. My past trips there have been about kind neighbors and lovely hospitality, so being humiliated by the host was awful. If you care about your dignity, avoid this place. We’ll never come back.

The apartment was spacious and cozy, with a lovely garden outside the beautiful villa. Everyone was friendly, and everything was perfect. I recommend it.
