Residence Sferisterio

The kitchenette has plates, glasses, cutlery and a small cooker, but no cookware, so the cooker is useless if you want to make anything. The rooms are very nice and the staff are friendly. It’s very close to the town center, though the steep uphill road, common in Macerata, means the walk takes around 10 minutes instead of five.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, with beautiful countryside views. It’s only steps from the center, yet the place stays quiet. Excellent location.

Cristina welcomed us warmly and was very helpful. There’s parking in the lot in front of the residence, and bringing a well-behaved dog is fine as long as it doesn’t cause damage. We booked the property in the center of Macerata for the Easter holidays after seeing the beautiful photos on Booking.com. The room was spacious, tastefully furnished and had lots of amenities and state-of-the-art facilities. We’ll definitely return for another stay at this elegant, well-kept place.

The owner was very kind and helpful, and the quiet property also has three parking spaces. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the center of Macerata. The rooms are basic but well appointed, though most don’t have a kitchenette or refrigerator, except perhaps a few. The price may be a little high for what’s offered, but it’s more than adequate for a quick getaway.
