Appartamento La Primula

Everything here is great apart from the guests who seem used to wearing wellies to bed, and have taught their children to do the same. They change out of ski boots there, then bring the ski boots into the room to dry. The noise starts at 7:00, with chairs creaking. At 8:00 the whole herd of clomping horses goes jumping until 9:00, then it starts up again at 16:10 when they return. We've stayed here a few times, but this year has really been the worst. In some parts of the Czech Republic, I guess the people involved still belong in the barn rather than the living room.

I'm responding to the review by Mr. Radovan Baťa, a client of Nev Dama. He deliberately ignored the agency's instructions, which strictly forbid dogs and other animals at the residence, as stated in the NevDama contract with the residence for the winter season. At reception, he told me stories about getting permission for his dog from the tour operator's Zlín branch and then from some Italian woman he said he'd called. I let him stay only as a goodwill gesture from the operating residence. While he was there, I went over the whole story with Nev Dama. They told me none of it was true and that he was a notoriously difficult client. When he left, I told Mr. Baťa I knew he had made things up, had seriously broken the agency's rules, and had lied. I said he was no longer welcome at La Primula Tre and that neither the agency nor the residence would accept a future booking from him. He then had a wildly uncontrolled outburst, screaming and hurling vulgar insults at me, Nev Dama, and the residence. His review is misplaced too: he's criticizing the residence rather than Nev Dama, where he bought the tour, because he knows his complaint there would be judged pointless.

Everything you need for a holiday is nearby: restaurants, cafes, shops, lovely nature, and peace and quiet. I keep coming back in both summer and winter because the service is always great and the accommodation is comfortable. There are garages for regular-sized cars, and a Škoda Kodiaq with a box or a Fiat 124 Spider fits just fine. I'd gladly return, if only for the friendly staff. Thanks for everything. Jaroslav

The garages won't fit SUVs with coffins, so you may have to park far from the residence, and even then you need to find a free spot. Deborah is much better. The Italians working there are helpful and will do what they can for you. At Primula, though, the Czech delegate is reluctant, frustrated, and unpleasant in every way. Many of the rooms there are nowhere near as good as Deborah's.
