The staff were wonderful and clearly take pride in the place, and the hotel is very cheap for what you get. It’s close to the ski area, and I’d stay again because it’s good value. We spent four January nights in a twin room. The room was quite small, and noise carries throughout the hotel because there’s little insulation between rooms. The whole place feels outdated and needs renovating. The advertised Wi-Fi doesn’t reach all parts of the hotel, and when we could connect it was too slow to use. Breakfast was free, but mostly cereal and different breads, so it got boring after one go.

We keep coming back to this lovely place with its nice people. It’s a seven-minute walk to the slopes with skis, and the restaurant serves good food.
