The room setup felt makeshift, almost like military barracks, and the cleanliness was very poor, as the photos show. I’m allergic to dust and other things, and it got bad enough that I had to take cortisone just to sleep a little and tolerate the place. We rushed out at 7:00 in the morning. The building was cold on a rainy day when it was 6 degrees outside. The lady said the radiators would come on at 4:00 PM, but only turned them on two hours later after we asked. It was too cold to shower. By 10:30 PM they were off again, and the night was freezing. I caught a cold. Parking is a long way from the building, so getting there with suitcases was uncomfortable. The bathroom fixtures are higher than standard, and a child couldn’t sit down without help. The bathroom linens weren’t really white, and I’d suggest colored ones if the lady doesn’t know how to wash whites or use bleach, since they turn gray. I skipped breakfast and went to a bar to get away from the allergy-prone environment. Other reviews mentioned packaged food, and given how tight-fisted the owner seems, I imagine breakfast is as they described. A nightmare!

The rooms, location, and cleanliness were all standard, but breakfast was very poor. The service was a disaster. We spent the first night in the cold. After we insisted the next day, the boiler finally came on in the evening, only to be turned off again at 10:00 PM. I even caught a cold. We’d booked three nights and gave notice that we were leaving one night early and would make it up the following week. It didn’t help, the lady forgot everything, and we ended up arguing at the office. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Although the hostess was very nice, I was disappointed with the value for money. For €60 I got less than 12 hours at the property, an incredibly uncomfortable bed, a poor breakfast, and a bathroom with no amenities like soap. The place itself is beautiful, quiet, and surrounded by greenery, but at that price I expected better quality. I won’t be back.

It was a good stay. The property is close to the city center, in a quiet area with plenty of free parking. The host was very kind, the bathroom had been newly renovated, and the air conditioning worked great.
