Hotel Excelsior Magenta

The location is great, just seconds from Magenta train station. Our room was pretty spacious. The shower felt a bit cramped, and the TV service was terrible in several ways, both the set itself and the channel reception. The bed was too hard for me, though I know that's personal preference.

Hotel Excelsior Magenta was a lovely stay. The room was spotless, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It's right near the train station, which made trips into Milan easy.

Big thanks to the staff and manager at Excelsior Magenta for going above and beyond to help us. We stayed for two nights in early April, then drove to France after dropping extra luggage at a DHL shipping center. We'd brought more bags than we needed for the next part of the trip because we'd been skiing and scuba diving, so we used Shipskis/DHL to send them back to the States. Two or three days later, DHL returned one bag to Hotel Excelsior Magenta after finding batteries inside that we hadn't removed. They were for a scuba torch, and we'd taken them on flights many times before. We couldn't deal with it in person, so we asked the hotel for help. The team retrieved the batteries, which was a huge relief. Shipskis /DHL collected the bag, and we got it back in the States. We also had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Definitely recommend.

I've stayed at this hotel at least six times and still enjoy coming back for its comfort and good looks. The rooms are excellent, with beautiful, refined wooden furniture, and they're kept perfectly clean and in good shape. The TV worked perfectly and offered lots of channels, including Sky Hotel. There are plenty of outlets, too. The bathroom is very good, with a great shower. I might have liked a safety handle inside it. There was hot water whenever I needed it. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were competent, polite, and really friendly. A place to visit with family, as a couple, with friends, or on your own, for a holiday or work.
