Alloggio del Gatto

Really lovely place.

Such a lovely place.

We had a hard time sleeping on nearly every night of our stay because dogs were barking for hours, as if we were next to a kennel. Our room looked out onto a nearby residential building that seemed partly unfinished, with no doors or windows on the upper floors. In the evenings, people we found suspicious came and went there. The owner, though, was very kind and apologetic.

The room was spotless and comfortable, and the lakeside setting is really convenient. The partner restaurant’s tagliolini with perch is the kind of dish you keep dreaming about afterward. On top of that, the owner was so friendly, kind, and helpful that those qualities alone would deserve five stars. Book it, you won’t regret it!
