Villa Irene B&B

The garden around the B&B feels like a little green oasis, with well-behaved cats. The villa’s period furnishings are carefully chosen, and every detail feels considered. We were welcomed like family by Irene and Piero, who made us wonderful breakfasts and snacks. Finding Villa Irene in the Umbrian hills was one of the loveliest surprises of our week traveling around Italy. It’s near the main road, which makes a handy base for visiting villages around the region, including Perugia, Spello, and Assisi. We’d love to come back as soon as we can. Highly recommended ⭐️

The house is spotless from top to bottom, and the bathroom especially stood out for its cleanliness. Everywhere you look, there are thoughtful details made with care. I've stayed in five-star hotels, but Villa Irene deserves a 10+. Irene's warm welcome and delicious breakfast made our two days unforgettable. Thank you, Irene. 💕❤️

The rooms are roomy and tastefully furnished with antique pieces, high ceilings, and exposed wooden beams that give the place a restful, old-fashioned feel. Outside, there's a big garden where you can unwind, and dogs are welcome too, which suited me and my four-legged travel companion perfectly. Breakfast changes every morning, with sweet and savory choices. Ms. Irene and her daughter Chiara serve pastries from the patisserie alongside homemade treats like panna cotta and torta al testo. What I'll remember most, though, is how owner Irene welcomes you and makes you feel at home. Staying here means sharing the B&B with its owner, and that makes the holiday feel unique.

Breakfast was practically a lunch, and the location made it easy to visit lots of places of interest. The property has an old-world feel, with such care given to the place and its guests that it becomes a wonderfully relaxing spot. We were welcomed as though we were distinguished guests in someone's home. Thank you, Irene and Chiara, for such lovely days. We'll be back soon!
