Podere n° 8 in Maremma

We chose half board so we could relax and enjoy the place, and it made the evenings easy. We loved the local Tuscan and Maremma food and wines, along with their delicious organic olive oil. Nobody could leave the table hungry! We spent two amazing weeks here and were very happy with our stay. Our apartment in the Bio Casale was new, beautiful, spacious, and had an outdoor area. Podere No 8 is run by a warm local family who made us feel at home and were happy to share detailed information about what to see and do. Breakfast was varied and generous, with delicious homemade cakes and great coffee, and we could look out over the Maremma countryside. The views were spectacular by the pool and from the upper garden, where chairs and tables made it a nice place to read or sip wine. We also saw unforgettable sunsets. It’s a wonderful chance to immerse yourself in the quiet of nature. I highly recommend it for a peaceful holiday in the Tuscan countryside, a perfect place to recharge and reconnect with nature and yourself!

The view over Maremma is breathtaking, and the pool was very clean. Everything is well maintained, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. It’s an amazing spot for relaxing and unwinding, with beaches, towns, and wineries nearby to explore. I’d definitely recommend this agritourismo!

The owners were lovely and happy to share what they know about the area. The breakfast and dining space was cool in the morning and had amazing sunset views in the afternoon. They bake cakes every day, and they’re fresh and delicious. A beautiful location with broad, lovely views.

We’d happily come back, maybe before October next time since the nights are already getting chilly. It’s an easy place to enjoy a book by the pool, though there are also beaches to explore, and a playground for older kids. We met another family traveling with a small baby. Our apartment was spacious and clean, with high ceilings, mostly light IKEA furniture, two air conditioners, and a comfortable bed. The food was spectacular, especially the rabbit and cauliflower, one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The hosts, perhaps the owners’ parents, didn’t speak much English, but Google Translate helped and they were always smiling.
