Arrigo was a friendly, very helpful host. Palazzo Garzia is a remarkable historic building with luxurious interiors and captivating scenery, all of which made our stay feel magical. It’s a wonderful gem in the center of Salento, and the experience gave us a real taste of southern Italy. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting this part of Italy.

A stay here feels like the real Italian way of life, nello stivale Pugliese, with no stress and la dolce Vita. Carlo is a very friendly host and willing to meet your wishes. The old Palazzo combines elegant rooms and suites, large comfortable beds, and modern comforts. In the morning, the Campanile bells wake you in time for a generous breakfast. Once you step through the large wooden front doors, you’re right in the middle of friendly Maglie, on Piazza Aldo Moro, surrounded by great caffè, pasticcini, and limoncello spritz.

Everything is so carefully maintained, and the attention to detail shows throughout. The rooms and hospitality are superb. This magnificent historic building sits in the heart of Aldo Moro’s birthplace, and Maglie puts all the beaches of Salento just a short drive away. Highly recommended.

Marco welcomed us to this historic residence in central Maglie and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our time in Salento. The building and rooms are elegant, clean, and well kept. Its central location made it easy for us to explore both the Adriatic and Ionian coasts. I highly recommend it.
