La Casa dAmare

The beach and Maiori's lovely promenade are only a few steps away, and there's a supermarket right downstairs, so the apartment is in a really convenient spot. Our host was kind, friendly and always lovely to chat with. The place was spotless and nicely arranged. Each morning the host made a generous, delicious breakfast fresh for us. We had a wonderful time at La Casa D'A Mare and would happily return.

The breakfast was amazing, all proper Italian food and very tasty. We appreciated everything the host did for us and would return as soon as we can. We booked the night before and got an immediate reply when we asked to check in early. On arrival, a kind, funny and very well-organized man welcomed us and let us in. Our room was spotless, with a big balcony and a lovely view. He also helped with restaurant suggestions and bus times, and even booked us a Capri trip at a very good price. The next day he let us leave our luggage at the property and waited for us to return from Capri so we could get back inside. We'd absolutely recommend staying here.

Just a five-minute walk to the beach, two minutes to the grocery store, with every service you might need close by. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the service is fantastic. The owners are a lovely local couple who are happy to spoil you when they can and share tips about the area. Staying here made our trip so much nicer than a hotel would have. We'll be back. I can't imagine staying anywhere else on the Amalfi Coast without comparing it to this experience.

Maiori is beautiful, with cheaper restaurants, and it worked well as a base for getting to Salerno, Amalfi and Positano. It's also within walking distance of the beach. We spent three days here, and Silvio made my husband and me feel at home. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and breakfast was great. Thanks so much to Silvio and his wife for a lovely stay. We'll recommend it to everyone we know who wants to visit!
