We came across the place by chance through a Smartbox, and it turned out to be a nice surprise. It’s in a very quiet area, and our room was spotless. The staff were friendly and especially attentive. Dinner was another pleasant surprise: authentic, delicious food and a truly exceptional house red, an amazing Ciliegiolo. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Cinque Terre.

The restaurant was a highlight: homemade pasta with delicate, authentic flavors, juicy and delicious mains (I had the stuffed pork loin), and desserts made in-house. The prices were excellent, and what we ate was good enough that I’d have paid more. We told them how much we enjoyed it. We slept comfortably in the well-kept, clean and welcoming rooms, with very comfortable beds, and liked the books placed along the hallways. We stayed for two nights in this mountain hotel. It takes a while to reach, but it’s worth the drive. We explored the Cinque Terre, about 40 minutes away, and there are also many nature trails nearby that we didn’t get to try. We’ve rarely had such a lovely stay and would return if we get the chance.
