The lake views are among the most impressive I’ve seen, and the hotel is well placed in Malcesine while still being very quiet. We had the junior suite, which was spacious and had steps leading down to the lake. The room was clean and well stocked, and the staff pointed out the amenities and helped make our stay comfortable. We usually skip hotel breakfast, but the buffet was so extensive that we ate there each morning. The hotel restaurant was very good too, with a discount for guests. There’s no pool on site, though guests can use the pool at the sister hotel next door. We didn’t use the parking, but it looked convenient. We’d stay again.

The staff were wonderful from start to finish, and Salvatore deserves a special mention for being so charming and funny. We also loved the breakfast and those amazing views. We barely needed the car because the old town and ferry stop were both close by, so we spent our time exploring the lake by boat. The hotel is right on the lake, in a great spot. Our room opened directly onto the lake, which our puppy loved. Breakfast was a very high standard, and all the staff were friendly. It cost a little more than we’d hoped, but it was worth it.

The receptionists made us feel so comfortable and welcome. I’ve never stayed in a better hotel. The food and drinks were great, and the view was breathtaking. If you’re in Italy, I highly recommend staying here.
