We paid just over €150 a night, which felt a little pricey, though maybe that's just the time of year. It's a smaller hotel with a cozy feel, and we had a nice stay over two nights. Breakfast had lots of options, and the place to sit and enjoy it was pleasant. The location was good, though next time I'd probably choose farther south near Hotel du Lac for an easier, quieter swimming spot. Our ground-floor room was fine, but the online pictures may make it look a bit better than it is. The fridge wasn't very cold when we arrived. A staff member said it was working but didn't check it, and it stayed that way throughout our visit, which wasn't ideal for the items we needed to refrigerate.

This little boutique-style hotel felt more like a four-star place, though it's rated three stars. The staff were super friendly and did all they could to advise us about the area. The cable car to Monte Baldo is just steps away, and the quiet setting is a short walk from the busy city centre, a perfect balance. Our room was clean and nice, and the blackout shutters were top-notch for getting a restful night's sleep before a luxurious brekkie. The shower was tiny, but that seems to be the norm for Italia. I'd book here again without hesitation.

We chose Meridiana while getting ready for our wedding in Malcesine on 5 Sep 24, and it made the whole stay from check-in to leaving fantastic. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and breakfast was truly five-star. After arriving tired, being welcomed with a glass of fizz on the terrace was such a lovely touch. We couldn't have picked a better place for the lead-up to our big day. Whenever we're back in Malcesine, this will be our first choice. Thank you for everything, Chris & Gill Dickson.

The shower pressure was something else, and the breakfast buffet was astonishing. Our room also had a great lake view from the balcony. The staff were so helpful, and the hotel itself was beautifully decorated and immaculate throughout. Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed in.
