Gasthof Weisskugel

The views around this mountain tour area are fantastic, and the people are lovely. Give it a try, there’s no harm in seeing it for yourself.

The pizza we had that evening was amazing. I can’t understand calling it the worst unless you like a very different kind of pizza! I also met lots of nice people, and the hosts are friendly and genuine. Their first impression may feel unusual, but the welcome is warm and nothing feels put on. The rooms are clean and well kept, much like the hikers’ rooms at the Glieshof, just cheaper. It’s great value and a good place to stay, even for a few extra days.

Francesca brought out a fantastic freshly baked strudel at breakfast, which was excellent. We also slept really comfortably, thanks to the beds, and had a divine dinner. It’s a decent hotel that’s very well managed.

Francy and Gigi made our group feel very welcome, and the Weisskugel worked perfectly for a lively bunch like ours. The twelve of us from MtbGravelCampodarsego stayed there over the weekend of July 12th. On Saturday we confirmed our bikes, then climbed the Stelvio. We’ll be back. Come on, off we go!
