Panorama Malosco

We were there for two days and two nights, and it was easy to get around without a car. Several mountain trails begin nearby, with a couple of bus routes connecting you to interesting places in the area. The hotel sits surrounded by nature. Our room was cosy, breakfast was plentiful, and we really enjoyed the traditional dinner, with a main course, second course, dessert and lots of side dishes. The staff were so kind, especially the manager, Mrs Grazia, who clearly cares about each guest and checks that they’re enjoying their stay. Thank you for a lovely visit.

The wellness centre was hard to use because the chlorine was so strong that our eyes started hurting after about 15 minutes. We didn't go into the hot sauna either, since people were naked there despite towels being expected. Meals were disappointing: breakfast had no fresh vegetables or fruit, and dinner was basic, with the same salad bar of tomatoes, corn and mayonnaise-heavy salade russe, plus two main dishes that left a lot to be desired. The risotto was average, and the bechamel lasagna was so bad I wouldn't call it lasagna. The rest isn't worth mentioning. We left frustrated and feeling strongly that we'd been robbed. The room was dirty, with stained sheets, dust and hair on the floor. The mattress was painfully hard, and we woke up aching all over. It was cold, too. We were told heating had to stop after April 30, but I find that outrageous. When a paying guest complains, you should make them comfortable. Madam Grazia accused us of stealing her panninis, then as we were leaving said she was sorry we were going because we were so nice. That left a bad taste in our mouths. I don't understand the five-star reviews. Maybe the Panorama is nice, but that had nothing to do with the owners. Never again.

The food was very poor, and the staff got angry when we asked for more. If you eat a lot, don't come here. If you're trying to lose weight, you won't get much good food.

The food was disgusting, and the staff never smiled. They charged us for things without telling us first, which felt like a cheat. The service was the worst I've ever had. I wouldn't recommend going there.
