Ca' del Monica Guesthouse

The sunset cruise was a great suggestion. Even with train delays, we could drop off our luggage and have the boat ready to go. I'd highly recommend adding this option because it took the hassle out of transit and let us start enjoying Cinque Terre on a small boat, with local knowledge shared before we hiked across each village. We stayed three nights and used the cooking facilities for breakfast, though there were so many good food options nearby that we tried those too. The accommodation has a good shower with lots of space and plenty of hot water overhead, plus washing lines on the terrace. There’s a sea view from the terrace, where we ate outside whenever the weather allowed. Staying in Manarola lets you buy the residence plus pass for the National Park, and take an easy hike to Riomaggiore. As a resident, you can walk in both directions. There are so many hiking paths, we could have stayed longer and relaxed even more.

Giorgio met us at the apartment and personally showed us how everything worked. He had thoughtfully supplied what we needed, including coffee, toiletries, a washer and drying rack, hair dryer, and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location was ideal, just a few steps from the Manarola train station. We absolutely loved our stay at Ca’ del Monica. Cinque Terre was just magical!

We had a perfect two day stay, thanks in part to Giorgio's very friendly welcome. The room had a pleasant terrace overlooking the main street, with a sea view at the end. Nice little extras included free Nespresso, a small fridge in the room, and complimentary bathroom slippers. A very good place to stay.

We had a really good family stay. There were two adults and a 7 years girl, and the apartment was more than enough for us. The kitchen is well equipped with all the modern conveniences, so you can cook what you need. The apartment and host were excellent, and the location was good. I hope to come back soon. Oscar
