Agriturismo Le Chicche di Mafalda (Adults Only)

We spent three relaxing, enjoyable days here. The garden and pool were immaculate, and the peaceful setting is only minutes from the Saturnia hot springs and the Mulino waterfalls. Breakfast was generous, with homemade cakes, pies, honey and jams alongside mozzarella, cured meats, eggs, bruschetta and pecorino. The rooms feel a little dated, though the mattress was very comfortable. Mrs. Mafalda is kind and chatty, and her calm dogs and cats kept us company under the porch in the evenings.

The staff were especially friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. This countryside B&B is just steps from the Saturnia hot springs and the famous Cascate del Mulino waterfalls. You can buy local olive oil, wine, cheese and other products at the B&B or nearby. There are also good restaurants serving traditional local food in the nearby villages.

Mrs. Mafalda brought so much positive energy to our stay. She’s a delightful, pleasant person and a real added value at this lovely farmhouse. We also loved the quiet setting, the beautiful pool and the clean, spacious rooms. It’s convenient for visiting the Cascate del Mulino waterfalls and the charming villages nearby. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent, and the price felt very reasonable for the quality and authenticity. Highly recommended!

Everything felt harmonious here. It’s a beautiful, clean, tidy place with a lovely family atmosphere. Breakfast was generous, the homemade desserts were great, and the staff were perfect. What else can I say? I’m not exaggerating.
