Agriturismo Poggio Petrella

Petrella was quiet and relaxing, and the paved road made it easy to reach. We were only there for one night, but Alessandra welcomed us warmly and was happy to answer our questions. The room was clean and roomy, and breakfast was delicious, especially the ricotta and homemade jams. Her restaurant suggestions worked out really well for us. We’d be glad to return.

We spent ten lovely days here and got a real break from the rush of everyday life. Alessandra and Enzo were incredibly kind, and shared useful tips about places to see. The breakfasts Alessandra made, with homemade cakes and traditional sweets, were delicious. The property is charming, surrounded by greenery and quiet. Some of Italy’s most beautiful villages are about half an hour away, and the enchanting beaches around forty minutes. I’d recommend it to everyone.

Mornings come with a lovely breakfast of local products, jams made from locally grown fruit, and tasty homemade desserts. Alessandra is so friendly and helpful, always ready with advice, and makes you feel like you’re staying with family. The farmhouse is carefully looked after and makes a comfortable, relaxing base in the beautiful Maremma countryside. I’d highly recommend it for a comfortable stay and a wonderful holiday.

Alessandra and her husband were so kind and helpful, and we had a really lovely two-night stay. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, with homemade cakes, jams, and ricotta. The place sits on a hill, a couple of kilometers from the main road, but it’s easy to reach by a paved lane. It’s a handy base for Saturnia’s hot springs and villages like Montemerano and Pitigliano. The sea and Argentario are about a half-hour drive away. A peaceful spot if you enjoy the countryside.
